An Experience for Love of Self in a World of Judgement
Human.Under.Going is an interactive experience about the mysterious challenge of embracing one’s inner diversity while embracing the asynchrony of another’s intentions.
In this exhibition, the visitor was always welcome to embrace the artwork, though the artwork, depending on their personal experience at the moment, would not always hug back, if occupied in their own h.u.g.
The human artwork’s embracing of their personal experience - meaning that they could not always embrace others - mimics the nature of false projections, in how we perceive other’s actions as personal to us, when they are often in the midst of a completely misinterpreted set of emotions, or just ‘going through their own thing’.
