Why experiential design and empathy?
My professional beginnings were in the magnificent halls of the Metropolitan Opera—at just 10 years old. This early immersion in an art form that communicates primarily through emotional resonance laid the foundation for my lifelong exploration of how we express, translate, and share our innermost feelings.
There, I performed alongside legends like Pavarotti, Domingo, and Upshaw—eventually studying bel canto technique with Sutherland's own coach. These formative experiences revealed the profound connection between emotional communication and spatial design, showing how physical environments and human expression intertwine to create transformative experiences.
At the Royal Academy of Belgium, I CONTINUED TO explore behavioral design and EMOTIONAL SPACE.
