The world as we know it will not continue to thrive.

In 2020, we are facing this - and more than ever - we need experiences to open the minds of the public to emotionally understand the impact of global warming, the mistreatment of refugees, massive racial and gender inequality. Our work in the lab, in, arts, corporate, and academic environments, makes it abundantly clear that simulating abstract realism is an untapped force towards causing social change.

Yet the possibility of change is in the distance between our brains, hearts and feet.

Our first big step towards harnessing change through simulation, is in a giant shoe. We will show how A Walk in My Shoes Experience can de-polarize our nation. This experience will show red states, blue states, and people of all categories of variation, a new way to have conversations about our differences. To show that our differences are to be celebrated. 

Through these works, I am living my commitment to artistic design that develops the emotional conversation of our shared experiences, supported by interdisciplinary scientific research, aimed towards societal change. The vision for Playground of Empathy can be found on the on this vision page.
